  • Steeping/Immersion: French Press, Cold Brew
  • Drip & Gravity: Pour-Over, Drip Machines, Phin Filter
  • Pressure: Espresso, Aeropress
  • Other Specialty: Instant Coffee, Percolator, K-Cup

What Grind Should I Choose?

  • Whole bean: Best for freshness if you have a grinder.
  • Coarse: French press or cold brew.
  • Medium: Drip machines or pour-over.
  • Fine: Espresso or Aeropress.

What Coffee Roast Should I Choose?

Light Roast

  • Color: Light brown, dry surface (no oils)
  • Flavor: Bright, acidic, often fruity or floral
  • Caffeine: Slightly higher than darker roasts (due to less roasting time)
  • Notes: Preserves origin characteristics—great for single-origin beans

Medium Roast

  • Color: Medium brown, dry surface
  • Flavor: Balanced acidity and body, with caramel or nutty notes
  • Caffeine: Moderate—slightly less than light roast
  • Notes: Smooth and versatile; popular for everyday brews

Dark Roast

  • Color: Dark brown to almost black, shiny surface (oily)
  • Flavor: Bold, smoky, chocolatey, sometimes bitter
  • Caffeine: Slightly lower than lighter roasts
  • Notes: Roast flavor dominates; origin notes are mute

What is Swiss Mountain Water Processing?

Swiss Mountain Water Processing is a natural, chemical-free method used to decaffeinate coffee beans while preserving their flavor and aroma.
